CV writing and Interview Skills
How to get your next promoted post! Doctors will learn how to write a compelling CV to become short-listed and then how to favourably impress at the interview to get the job that they really want.

Duration: Half day

Methods: Interactive lecture and demonstration supported by visual and auditory aids. Attendees provided with interview skills checklist.

Suitable for: Those doctors who are currently involved in applying for jobs.

Objectives: Attendees will learn the importance of the production of a well-structured and well-presented CV in order to become shortlisted for positions within the NHS. Online applications will be discussed in detail.  Time will be spent looking at the importance in interview of communication skill, body language, dress and question handling. The importance of practice and mock interview scenarios will be stressed.
