Doctors will learn how to negotiate effectively and use powerful techniques
for avoiding and resolving work-related conflict.

Methods: Interactive lecture and demonstration supported by visual and auditory aids. Active role-play exercises.
Suitable for: Those doctors who regularly need to negotiate and resolve conflict as an ongoing part of their work or those who are seeking to move into a new role demanding these skills.
Objectives: Attendees will learn the importance of preparation in conducting effective negotiations. Time will be spent highlighting and discussing the importance of the eight-step model in conflict resolution. Participants will engage in real-life role play scenarios to practice the skills they have learned in a safe and supportive environment.
